Ashok Lal

Ashok Lal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and strategic development, currently serving as Senior General Manager at PRISM CEMENT - PRISM JOHNSON LIMITED since December 2020. In this role, Ashok has facilitated mining asset transfers and developed policies that enhance relationships with government entities. Previously, Ashok held positions as General Manager and Deputy General Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing large-scale mining projects, ensuring compliance, and obtaining necessary environmental clearances. Additional experience includes project management in digital transformation at OctaShop and leadership roles in agriculture-based social enterprises. Ashok has academia involvement as a guest speaker at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and holds a BTech in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a PGP in Digital Transformation from Purdue University.
