Michelle Logan-Owens

Michelle Logan-Owens, DHA, BSN, RN is the chief executive officer for Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. She has been with Tuomey for more than 20 years and most recently served as President and CEO of Tuomey Healthcare System. Logan-Owens earned a master’s degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and a doctorate in health care administration from MUSC in 2014. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. The Pinewood, South Carolina, native began her career at Tuomey as a clinical technician on the Surgical Inpatient unit and later launched her nursing career as an RN on the Oncology unit. She is a member of The Forum, the American College of Health Care Executives, the South Carolina Organization of Nurse Executives, nursing honor society Sigma Theta Tau and health care administration honor societies Alpha Eta and Upsilon Phi Delta. She has also served on the boards for the South Carolina Families of Highway Fatalities and the South Carolina Hospital Association.
