Scott Jones

CEO, Hillcrest Hospital at Prisma Health

Scott Jones is currently the CEO of Hillcrest Hospital at Prisma Health. Scott has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry, and has held leadership positions at both Carolinas HealthCare System and Greenville Health System.

Scott began their career at Greenville Health System in 2003, where they were promoted to President of Patewood Medical Campus just nine years later. In this role, Scott was responsible for the construction of a new 72-bed surgical hospital, as well as leading business development and strategic planning initiatives. Scott also oversaw 360 employees and administered an annual operating budget of $52M.

In 2012, Scott left Greenville Health System to join Carolinas HealthCare System as Vice President—Facility Executive of Carolina Medical Center - Mercy. In this role, they were responsible for a 196-bed acute care hospital, the Endoscopy Service Line, and a joint-ventured ambulatory surgery center. Scott also oversaw 1,100 employees and administered an annual operating budget of $241M.

Scott’s experience in both hospital administration and construction make him uniquely qualified to lead Hillcrest Hospital at Prisma Health. Scott is a proven leader with a track record of success in both operational efficiency and revenue growth.

Scott Jones has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
