Alex Trost

Alex Trost has over ten years of experience in the tech industry. In 2021, they began working as Lead Developer Experience Engineer and Developer Experience Engineer at Prismic. Prior to that, they were an Engineer at Digital Surgeons from 2019 to 2021. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Software Engineer at Green Check, Inc., a Jr. Front End Web Developer at GoNation, and a Frontend Web Developer at Freelance. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Lead Teacher and Teacher at Booker T. Washington Academy and The School District of Philadelphia, respectively. In addition to teaching, they worked to create a web app to differentiate instruction, gamify education, and enhance teacher productivity. From 2007 to 2015, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer, where they acquired and worked with clients to create branding identities through logos, brochures, business cards, websites, and advertisements. Alex also refined skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WordPress, HTML, and Javascript.

Alex Trost obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Temple University between 2010 and 2014. In 2018, they completed a Front End Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity in Computer Software Engineering. From 2005 to 2008, they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Graphic Design from Bucks County Community College.
