Neil Hawley has a wealth of experience in various roles within the engineering and construction industry. Neil began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Intermountain Design Inc in 1990 and later joined Daw Technologies as a Project Engineer in 1995. At Daw Technologies, they successfully managed clean-room construction projects and implemented efficient manufacturing scheduling.
In 2000, Hawley became a Laser Engineer at Clearvision Laser (VISX), where they developed a successful program for mobile excimer lasers used in LASIK eye surgery. Neil also managed a team of engineers and technicians and implemented quality assurance programs.
Hawley then took on roles at Mikohn Signs & Graphics, where they served as Director of Sustainability and Materials, and later as CAD/Engineering & Materials Manager. In these roles, they managed various departments, reduced costs, and implemented certifications, such as RoHS compliance and ISO 9000 manufacturing.
In 2009, Hawley joined Casino Lighting & Sign as an Engineering Manager, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities and presenting findings to upper management. Neil then moved to YESCO in 2011 as an Operations Manager, where they analyzed statistics, interacted with managers, and trained new employees.
In 2014, Hawley joined Prismview as a Director of Project Management, responsible for leading the project management function and making strategic decisions. Finally, in 2010, they joined Samsung Electronics America as a Sr. Director of Construction Management, where they defined and delivered strategies, managed project execution, and ensured overall financial performance.
Throughout their career, Hawley has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills, as well as a focus on cost reduction and process improvement.
Neil Hawley obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended Utah State University from 1985 to 1988, pursuing Pre Engineering with a focus on Design Engineering Technology. Apart from their formal education, Neil also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 1999, they achieved Excimer Laser certification from Amo Visx. In 2005, they acquired Hazardous Waste Management and Shipping certification from AET Environmental, as well as Lean Manufacturing certification from Resource Engineering Consulting LLC. Finally, in 2007, Neil completed a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Kaplan University.
