Aruna Vempaty

Aruna Vempaty has extensive work experience in engineering and software development. Aruna is currently the Director of Engineering at Privacera, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Oracle Corporation for over a decade, starting in 2010. During their time at Oracle, they held various roles including Director of Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineering Manager, Manager Software Engineering, and Principal Project Lead. In these roles, they were responsible for delivering a suite of products within the Identity Management Suite. Aruna built and developed high-performing teams, cultivated partnerships with stakeholders and customers, and played a vital role in the company's success. Before joining Oracle, Aruna worked at Sun Microsystems as a Lead Staff Engineer from 1999 to 2010. Overall, they have a strong track record of leadership, team building, and successful product delivery.

Aruna Vempaty holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from National University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Accounting from Nagarjuna University. Currently, they are pursuing a PGP in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Business Applications from The University of Texas at Austin, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
