James Bronstein has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. James began their career at Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Manager, where they focused on project delivery and revenue generation, specializing in strategy, operations, finance, and regulatory initiatives. James then moved on to Citi, where they held the position of Managing Director, overseeing risk, finance, capital management, and regulatory relations. During their time at Citi, they established a new organization to optimize capital and implemented controls and capabilities to meet regulatory requirements.
After Citi, James joined Privacy4Cars as a Board Member, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. James played a significant role in securing financing from institutional investors and implemented operational and financial systems and controls. James'sresponsibilities included maintaining consumer data privacy compliance for automotive lenders such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and GM Financial.
Currently, James is working at IBM, where they are responsible for cloud strategy and business development. James focuses on generating Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) for IBM's hybrid cloud business and manages executive relationships with major financial institutions like Citigroup, JP Morgan, and Blackrock. James leads the full deal lifecycle, from identifying key business issues to structuring solutions and contracting proposals.
James Bronstein has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. James also holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
