Eric Thorsen

Eric graduated from Western Washington University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business with a concentration in Finance. Eric has spent most of the past 25 years employed in the real estate, finance, and investment industries. In 1993, Eric spent one year as a residential loan officer originating home loans. Starting in 1994, Eric spent three years as a fully licensed financial consultant at Smith Barney, where he was trained in asset allocation, portfolio management, and investment selection across all asset classes and investment vehicles. Prior to becoming the founder and one of the current owners of Private Capital Northwest in 2012, Eric spent the previous 15 years working for a local commercial real estate lender. In this position, Eric was either directly responsible for or involved in the origination and placement of more than $600 million in commercial real estate loans with private investors.
