Kalyan R Raman

Kalyan R Raman has held several prominent roles throughout their career. Kalyan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at PCR Financial Aggregation since October 2021. Before this, Kalyan worked at Dynata as the CTO from November 2017 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for various aspects of technology, engineering, information security, and infrastructure. Kalyan successfully integrated three legacy businesses into a single platform and transformed the engineering organization into a high-performing team. Prior to Dynata, Kalyan was the Chief Technology Officer at The Nielsen Company from June 2008 to August 2017. During this time, they managed all technology and platform infrastructure globally and implemented innovative solutions, such as a machine learning engine for automated attribute extraction from product images and an e-commerce measurement product. Kalyan also worked at TCS, where they held the position of Practice Head from June 2000 to July 2008. Kalyan played a key role in launching the North American Business Intelligence & Analytics group, driving significant business growth and overseeing clients such as Bank of America and Motorola. Furthermore, they served as the Digital Transformation Leader for Nielsen, leading initiatives to enhance advertising effectiveness and improve the core platform's performance. Kalyan R Raman obtained their education from prestigious institutes. Kalyan pursued a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, completing it from 1994 to 1999. Prior to their doctoral studies, they achieved an M.Sc in Mathematics from the same institution from 1992 to 1994. Their undergraduate studies were conducted at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology, where they obtained a B.Sc in Applied Sciences from 1989 to 1992.
