Diana Garvis Purcel, MBA, NADC.DC, is an experienced board member and financial executive with a robust background in corporate governance and fiscal leadership. Currently serving as a Public Co Board member for both PetMeds® and Ocean Power Technologies, Diana holds chair positions on the Audit Committees of both companies while actively participating in additional committees focused on compensation, governance, and nominating processes. Diana co-founded the Private Directors Association® Mpls | St. Paul chapter and provides mentorship through Executive Springboard, LLC. Previous roles include executive leadership positions such as CFO at iMedia Brands, Inc. and Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants, alongside significant contributions at Famous Dave's. Diana holds an Executive MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor’s degree in Management with a concentration in Accounting from Tulane University.

The Private Directors Association® (PDA) is a non-profit organization of, by, and for private company business owners, their executives, and directors. The mandate is to define and model private company governance excellence for corporate, ESOPs, family-owned, partnerships, private equity portfolio companies, and start-ups/venture capital financed—at all levels of revenue generation. An individual or corporate annual membership provides: • Unlimited attendance at all live City/Chapter events nationally or, when available, via live-streaming of those events. • Conferences, webinars and other digital content, exclusive chat rooms/groups, and a library of knowledge to inform, educate, and connect members on relevant private company topics. • A network of qualified members for private corporate board director position considerations.
