Jay Brodsky is a prominent technology leader with extensive experience in both operational and strategic roles. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Jay leads technology operations and data research for a major scientific society. In addition to this role, Jay is a board member at Twin Valley Management and holds leadership positions in the Private Directors Association® as Vice President of Communications & Marketing and as a Cybersecurity Oversight Board Member. Past roles include Chief Digital Officer at the American Geophysical Union and CIO at Thompson Media Group LLC, among others. Jay's educational background includes an MBA from Northwestern University, a master’s degree in cybersecurity strategy from The George Washington University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

The Private Directors Association® (PDA) is a non-profit organization of, by, and for private company business owners, their executives, and directors. The mandate is to define and model private company governance excellence for corporate, ESOPs, family-owned, partnerships, private equity portfolio companies, and start-ups/venture capital financed—at all levels of revenue generation. An individual or corporate annual membership provides: • Unlimited attendance at all live City/Chapter events nationally or, when available, via live-streaming of those events. • Conferences, webinars and other digital content, exclusive chat rooms/groups, and a library of knowledge to inform, educate, and connect members on relevant private company topics. • A network of qualified members for private corporate board director position considerations.
