Kathryn Loo serves as the Dallas - Fort Worth Chapter President of the Private Directors Association® since March 2022 and holds the position of Director at Heart House and the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation since July 2018 and January 2015, respectively. Previously, Kathryn led Capital CFO Partners LLC as Managing Partner until retirement in October 2012, where strategic advisory services were offered to mid-market companies. Kathryn's extensive experience includes senior roles at Penson Worldwide, Inc., such as Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Executive, and Vice President of Global SOX Compliance, overseeing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal audit services. In addition, Kathryn has a significant background with Electronic Data Systems, where accounting processes were reengineered, and served as CFO at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie and Director of Finance at Loews Hotels. Kathryn Loo holds a BSBA in Accounting from UNLV Lee Business School.

The Private Directors Association® (PDA) is a non-profit organization of, by, and for private company business owners, their executives, and directors. The mandate is to define and model private company governance excellence for corporate, ESOPs, family-owned, partnerships, private equity portfolio companies, and start-ups/venture capital financed—at all levels of revenue generation. An individual or corporate annual membership provides: • Unlimited attendance at all live City/Chapter events nationally or, when available, via live-streaming of those events. • Conferences, webinars and other digital content, exclusive chat rooms/groups, and a library of knowledge to inform, educate, and connect members on relevant private company topics. • A network of qualified members for private corporate board director position considerations.
