Ken Schmitt is an accomplished CEO, founder, and national recruiter at TurningPoint Executive Search. In addition to leading their own company, Schmitt serves as a member and San Diego Committee Co-Leader for the Private Directors Association® and hosts the podcast Hiring Matters. Schmitt is also U.S. Partner and Advisory Board Member at Talentor International and contributes as an Advisory Board Member for San Diego Sport Innovators. Schmitt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the University of San Diego, graduating between 1988 and 1992, and completed studies at Cathedral High School from 1984 to 1988.
Private Directors Association®
The Private Directors Association® (PDA) is a non-profit organization of, by, and for private company business owners, their executives, and directors. The mandate is to define and model private company governance excellence for corporate, ESOPs, family-owned, partnerships, private equity portfolio companies, and start-ups/venture capital financed—at all levels of revenue generation. An individual or corporate annual membership provides: • Unlimited attendance at all live City/Chapter events nationally or, when available, via live-streaming of those events. • Conferences, webinars and other digital content, exclusive chat rooms/groups, and a library of knowledge to inform, educate, and connect members on relevant private company topics. • A network of qualified members for private corporate board director position considerations.
