Paul Edelman, PhD, PCC is a distinguished Family Office Coach at Edelman and Associates since 1998, specializing in enhancing the effectiveness of family office executives and principals while addressing complex family dynamics. As a faculty member at The UHNW Institute, Paul contributes to interdisciplinary collaboration among advisors serving ultra-high-net-worth families through the Ten Domains of Family Wealth model. In their role as a Case Study Facilitator for the Private Directors Association®, Paul leads discussions to enhance the governance skills of board members in family businesses. Additionally, Paul serves on the advisory board of Wildlife Acoustics, Inc., providing strategic advice to the CEO, and previously facilitated advanced coaching programs at Coaching.com. Academically, Paul holds a PhD in Personality and Developmental Psychology from Harvard University and a BS in Physics with a concentration in Cognitive Science from MIT.

The Private Directors Association® (PDA) is a non-profit organization of, by, and for private company business owners, their executives, and directors. The mandate is to define and model private company governance excellence for corporate, ESOPs, family-owned, partnerships, private equity portfolio companies, and start-ups/venture capital financed—at all levels of revenue generation. An individual or corporate annual membership provides: • Unlimited attendance at all live City/Chapter events nationally or, when available, via live-streaming of those events. • Conferences, webinars and other digital content, exclusive chat rooms/groups, and a library of knowledge to inform, educate, and connect members on relevant private company topics. • A network of qualified members for private corporate board director position considerations.
