Rahul Ramanan

Global Head of Storage Assets at Private Energy Partners

Rahul Ramanan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Rahul is currently serving as the Global Head of Storage Assets at Private Energy Partners since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at RWE as the Vice President for BESS and gH2 Technology Solutions from November 2020 to May 2023. Before that, Rahul was employed at Fluence as the Director of Business Development for SE Asia from January 2018 to November 2020. Rahul also worked as a Sales Engineer at AES Energy Storage from January 2017 to January 2018. Rahul started their career at Black & Veatch, initially as an Electrical Engineering Intern from May 2013 to August 2013, and later as an Electrical Engineer from February 2014 to January 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Service Engineer at Schneider Electric from May 2010 to December 2011. Rahul also gained experience as a Graduate Student Assistant at George Washington University from April 2012 to May 2013. Throughout their career, Rahul has demonstrated expertise in electrical engineering, business development, and storage asset management.

Rahul Ramanan's education history begins in 1990 when they attended the International Indian School in Riyadh, K.S.A, where they focused on studying Mathematics and Physics. Rahul completed their studies there in 2004.

In 2004, they joined Kerala University and pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Rahul completed their undergraduate studies in 2009.

After that, in 2012, Rahul enrolled at The George Washington University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management. Rahul successfully completed their graduate studies in 2014.
