Devon Caraway

Devon Caraway has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in the education and theater industry. In 2016, Caraway worked at Private Prep as a Tutor Development Advisor, where they trained and advised tutors, assessed pedagogy, and designed tracking processes for trainee progress. Caraway also taught acting courses at Ridgefield Theater Barn, including Adult Intro to Acting and Scene Study, where they focused on vocal development and utilizing practical tools for performance. They also taught Modern Drama Scene Study, addressing tools for rehearsal processes. In 2014, Caraway was a TA Professor for Introduction to Acting and Directing 101 at Brown University. They also had internship experiences at Theatre for a New Audience and Red Bull Theater, where they gained valuable experience in development and artistic roles, respectively. Prior to that, Caraway worked as a Casting Apprentice at Calleri Casting and a Casting Intern at Roundabout Theatre Company, developing skills in administrative tasks and casting. Caraway also served as a Programs Assistant at NYU Tisch School of the Arts from 2008 to 2010.

Devon Caraway has a strong educational background in the field of Drama and Theatre Arts. From 2007 to 2010, they attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree. They then furthered their education at Brown University from 2013 to 2015, where they achieved a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree specializing in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft.
