Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU)
Katherine Nabasirye is a seasoned legal and communication professional currently serving as a Safeguarding and Communications Officer at the Private Sector Foundation Uganda since June 2023, where responsibilities include developing and implementing safeguarding policies and providing guidance to staff. Prior experience includes a role as Digital Manager at Next Media from 2020 to June 2023 and tenure as a Legal Associate at Gichuru and Gichuru Advocates, where Katherine engaged in extensive legal research, documentation, and client representation. Katherine also held positions as a Legal Assistant at Legal Brains Trust and interned at Katende, Ssempebwa & Co. Advocates and the Centre for Legal Aid, in addition to serving as an enumerator at Innovations for Poverty Action. Academic qualifications include a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda Christian University.

Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU)
Private sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) is Uganda’s umbrella body for the private sector made up of over 230 Business Associations, Corporate bodies and the major Public Sector Agencies that support private sector growth. Since its founding in 1995, PSFU has served as a focal point for private sector advocacy as well as capacity building and continues to sustain a positive dialogue with Government on behalf of the private sector. PSFU is also Government’s implementation partner for several projects and programmes aimed at strengthening the private sector as an engine of economic growth in Uganda.
