James Sams

James Sams has been the Market President for Privia Health in Georgia since November 2014. Prior to that, James held various roles at Piedmont Healthcare from 2010 to 2014, including CMO of Piedmont Clinic, CMO of South Region Hospitals, and Medical Director of Primary Care Physicians. James earned a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Mercer University in 2013 and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Emory University School of Medicine in 1979. Additionally, James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Southwestern at Memphis.
