Melissa Montague

Melissa joined Privia Health in 2019 and serves as the President of the Ohio Market, where she is responsible for developing and leading the market’s strategic vision and driving growth, operational excellence, and practice performance. Melissa also manages Privia Women’s Health and Privia Pediatrics nationally as the Senior Vice President of Specialties.

Before joining Privia, Melissa was the Regional Vice President for MEDNAX National Medical Group, providing operational oversight of a 10-state, multi-practice geography covering 65+ health system partnerships, 30+ surgery centers, and 750+ employed physicians and APPs across diverse specialties, such as anesthesia, CTICU, pain medicine, hospitalists, and women's and children's services. In this role, Melissa was deeply immersed in the day-to-day of healthcare, supporting quality, strategy, health system partnerships, and overall P&L growth for the organization.

Melissa is a 2022 Nashville Health Care Council Fellow and has held leadership positions with payers and hospitals.
