Aashna Bhandari currently serves as a Student Researcher at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, focusing on research within the Wilson Motor Lab at UCLA. Concurrently, Aashna holds the position of Research Assistant at Florida International University, contributing to a study on social determinants of parenting and disparities affecting families with transition-age youth with ASD and/or ID, funded by the FIU-RCMI Grant from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. As an Emergency Medical Technician at PRN Ambulance, Inc., Aashna is trained in basic and advanced life support, providing critical care during emergency situations. Previous experience includes a summer internship at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center, where Aashna collaborated on a project in the Emergency Department, and a role as a Dance Instructor at Gurus of Dance. Aashna Bhandari is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology & Society at UCLA, expected to graduate in 2025, following completion of a high school diploma at Monte Vista High School in 2021.
