Deb Abrahamson

Deb Abrahamson is a retired nonprofit executive with extensive experience in leadership and community engagement. They served as the first Executive Director of the Oak Park Education Foundation, significantly increasing revenue and program participation, and held roles in grant management for Oak Park Elementary District 97. Currently, Deb serves as a Board Member for Growing Community Media, Maywood Fine Arts, and the Pro Bono Network, where they focus on strategic planning and governance. Deb's educational background includes a B.A. in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania and certifications in Nonprofit Management and Grant Specialization. Prior to their nonprofit work, they held various roles in communications and public relations.
