Sofia Nguyen

Sofia Nguyen is a microbiologist currently employed at PRO-TECH Design & Mfg, Inc. since October 2021. Previously, Sofia served as a microbiology technologist at NAMSA, Inc. from August 2020 to September 2021, where responsibilities included applying aseptic techniques and performing rigorous testing in compliance with industry standards. Sofia holds a bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where independent research focused on the effects of ocean acidification on brown algae. Additional experience includes roles as a laboratory assistant, archives assistant, and chemistry tutor within the university setting.
