Cathrine Tangerås Eide

Cathrine Tangerås Eide has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Cathrine Tangerås started their career as a Geophysicist at Bergen Oilfield Services AS in 2010, before moving on to work as a Field Spec 1 - SLS at Baker Hughes from 2012 to 2013. Cathrine Tangerås then worked as a Log analyst in the End of Well group at Baker Hughes in 2014.

In 2016, Cathrine joined Octio AS as a Geophysicist intern, where they developed a program in Python to interpret operational logs and worked with seismic data analysis. Additionally, they worked as a Teacher at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, teaching high school mathematics and physics from 2016 to 2017.

Currently, Cathrine is working at Pro Well Plan AS, where they have held multiple roles since 2017. Cathrine Tangerås started as a Software Developer, contributing to the development of software for the digital oil industry. Cathrine Tangerås then progressed to become the Chief Sales Officer, responsible for business development and sales strategy. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at the company.

Throughout their career, Cathrine has gained expertise in software development, geophysics, project management, and sales.

Cathrine Tangerås Eide obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geophysics from Universitetet i Bergen (UiB) in 2010. In the same year, they also received a Bachelor's degree in Geology from The University Centre in Svalbard. Later, they completed a Master's degree in Geoscience from Universitetet i Bergen (UiB) from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they obtained certification in Basic Safety and Emergency Training from Nutec.
