Hesam Tabatabaei

Hesam Tabatabaei, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development and innovation within the polymer and packaging industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at ProAmpac since January 2016, Tabatabaei leads global teams focused on developing sustainable and innovative product platforms in a company valued at over $2 billion. Prior roles at ProAmpac included Vice President of Global Product Development and Director of Research, Innovation, and Technology, where significant advancements in polymer materials and packaging technologies were achieved. In addition to industry roles, Tabatabaei is an Adjunct Professor at Polytechnique Montréal and has a strong research background, including post-doctoral work and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Polymer Science. Tabatabaei's expertise encompasses multilayer films, functional coatings, and various resin technologies, contributing to advancements in food and medical packaging solutions.
