Jason Gopaul has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on pension risk transfer and retirement solutions. Jason currently holds the position of President at Procentia and has been with the company since 2022. Prior to joining Procentia, Jason worked at Alight Solutions from 2016 to 2022, where they served in various roles including Vice President of Pension Risk Transfer and Vice President of Defined Benefit Solutions. Jason played a key role in building and growing the pension risk transfer business and managed a large portfolio of clients. Before Alight Solutions, Jason worked at Aon from 2003 to 2017, holding positions such as Senior Director - Client Service Executive and Director - Benefits Delivery. Their responsibilities included managing client relationships, overseeing outsourcing services, and driving revenue growth. Jason's earlier experience includes working at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan as a Team Leader, where they managed pension reporting and conducted training programs for client groups.
Jason Gopaul obtained an MBA in Strategic Management and International Business from the Schulich School of Business at York University between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto from 1992 to 1997.
