Tim Blackman

Tim Blackman currently serves as Group Head of Security, Risk & Compliance at Procentia since October 2022, while also holding the position of Information Security Manager at AXA UK since August 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Information Security Manager at the Royal College of Art, where significant achievements included the implementation of a cyber risk framework. Tim Blackman’s earlier tenure at the University of the West of England featured roles ranging from Information Security Specialist, where Tim led the implementation of an Information Security Management System, to IT Compliance and Security, ensuring compliance with the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit. Tim Blackman began a technology career as a Desktop Engineer, focusing on lecture capture technology and IT system maintenance. Educational background includes studies at Bridgwater & Taunton College and Clevedon Community School.
