Richard Thomas

Richard Thomas has extensive experience in management and legal roles. Since January 2004, Richard has served as the National Manager of Insurance at Proclaim Management Solutions, overseeing a team of claims managers and focusing on business development across various insurance sectors, including Accident & Health and Professional Indemnity. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Paralegal at the Treasury Solicitor in the UK, where research was conducted for significant trade practices litigation. Richard's early career included a position as Committee Clerk at the Select Committee Office of the New Zealand House of Representatives, providing policy analysis and procedural advice. Richard holds a BA/LLB(Hons) in Politics and Law from the University of Otago.
