Matt Halabian has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Matt started their career as an Operator of a production line at Ati Luleh Sepahan in 2004. In 2004, they joined the Giti Pasand Industrial Group as a Technical Director and Business Development Manager, overseeing multiple departments and factories. In 2012, they worked as a Sales Engineer at Quantum Building LTD. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Technical Sales Consultant/Account Manager at ARVIO Pty Ltd, where they specialized in contemporary living technologies and design. In 2014, they joined AGB Engineering as a Technical Trainer, focusing on plumbing and hydraulic building services. From 2014 to 2018, they served as a Senior Sales & Design Consultant/2IC at National Tiles. In 2018, they became the Victorian Field Sales Manager at Idealair Group. Their next role was as an Account Manager at COSENTINO from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Business Development Manager VIC, TAS, SA & NZ at Bisazza since 2022.

Matt Halabian has a diverse education history. In 1995, they attended Soruosh Technical School and obtained a diploma in Plumbing services, specializing in Hot&Cold Water Supply and Waste Water. Matt then pursued an Associate's degree in Hydraulic Building Services from Azad University (IAU) between 1999 and 2002. Continuing their education at the same university, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from 2004 to 2007.

In 2012, Matt attended the Parker Brent Institute in Melbourne, Australia, where they earned a diploma in Project Management. The following year, they studied Autodesk Revit Architecture at Melbourne Polytechnic, focusing on Interior and Environmental Design.

Matt's passion for training and assessment led him to pursue a TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from AGB Training in 2014. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate IV in Plumbing and services in February 2014 from AGB Engineering Pty Ltd.
