Tawengwa started their career in 2004 as a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant at Dimension Data Zimbabwe and worked there until 2006.
Tawengwa Toronga obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Electronic Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe, from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, Tawengwa acquired certification in "Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK" from AttackIQ in 2020.
