Cm-Bim Stephen Devito

Stephen DeVito, CM-BIM has extensive work experience in the field of building technology and information science. Stephen started their career at Unisys in 2002 as a US General Services Administration Representative and Project Technology Specialist, where they played a key role in establishing the Mid-Atlantic Region BIM Program and hosted the GSA's National BIM Workshop. Stephen also assisted in the installation and configuration of the GSA's electronic Project Management application.

In 2012, DeVito joined Procon Consulting as a Senior Building Technology Consultant. Stephen later became the Director of Technology, focusing on the application of Information Science and Technology to building portfolios. Stephen provided consulting services to facility owners, ensuring successful delivery of capital projects and optimal management of buildings.

During their time at Procon Consulting, DeVito also served as the US General Services Administration Representative: Senior Project Technology Specialist. In this role, they developed the Mid-Atlantic Region BIM Program, wrote BIM contract requirements for various firms, and checked BIM submissions for compliance with contractual requirements.

Stephen DeVito, CM-BIM, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Information Science and Technology from Drexel University in the years 1998-2001. Stephen also holds a certification in CM-BIM from the Associated General Contractors of America, which they obtained in September 2014.
