Mike O'Dea

Mike O’Dea is a Co-Founder and member of the Board of Directors of ProConnections, Inc. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Engineering. He has over 40 years of expertise managing the design and deployment of highly reliable embedded systems. He is responsible for creating the most capable and cost-effective system design and manufacture of ProConnections’ line of products.

Mike’s background includes product development for both military and commercial applications and reflects his entrepreneurial passion for interfacing technology with the physical world. Prior to ProConnections, he was one of the founders of Biometrica Systems, a commercial venture implementing facial recognition technology for the casino industry. When Biometrica Systems was acquired by Viisage Technology in 2001, Mike continued as Vice President of Engineering. Since leaving Viisage Technology in 2003 to start ProConnections, the business has grown steadily. In 2013, ProConnections was recognized as one the the fastest growing companies by Inc. 500/5000.

Mike received a B.S. in Applied and Engineering Physics and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Cornell University.
