Yi Wen

Yi Wen, Ph.D., possesses extensive experience in the fields of bioengineering and biomedical engineering, having held various positions such as Environmental Scientist at Procter & Gamble, Research Assistant at the Irudayaraj Lab, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, Yi Wen served as a Research Affiliate at Carle Foundation Hospital and as a Facilities Specialist at the Tumor Engineering and Phenotyping Shared Resource, Cancer Center at Illinois. Significant involvement includes leadership as President of GradBMES and membership on the Engineering Graduate Student Advisory Committee at The Grainger College of Engineering. Yi Wen earned both a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing the Ph.D. program in July 2022.
