David Yarkin

David Yarkin's work experience begins in 1996 when they served as the Mayor's Press Secretary for the City of Philadelphia. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as the Director of Business Development at Bertelsmann. In 2003, they held the position of Deputy Secretary for Procurement for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. David then worked as the Director of Strategic Planning for the Department of Education in the City of New York from 2002 to 2003. In 2005, Yarkin founded Government Sourcing Solutions, where they served as President until 2021 and currently serves as a Board Member. David also worked as a Columnist for "Sourcing in the States" in Government Procurement Magazine from 2005 to 2010. Yarkin was an Ex-Officio Member of the Executive Committee for the National Association of State Chief Administrators from 2017 to 2019. In 2016, they became a Member of the Board of Directors for Capitol City Little League. In 2019, Yarkin founded Procurated, where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO.

David Yarkin attended Framingham North High School from 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued higher education at Harvard University and graduated in 1995 with an A.B. degree in Government.
