Ioan Fagarasan

Ioan Fagarasan has extensive work experience in engineering and software development. Ioan is currently an Engineering Manager at PRODA LTD, where they began working in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Snowplow starting in 2022 and ending in 2023.

From 2021 to 2022, Ioan was the Head of Software Engineering at DA Languages, where they led the development organization and collaborated with teams in the UK and India. Ioan also served as a Principal Software Engineer for Miton Systems, which was later acquired by DA Languages, from 2020 to 2021.

Before joining DA Languages, Ioan worked as an Engineering Manager at Clearbox Limited from 2019 to 2020, leading the Mobile Development Team. Ioan also worked at OnTheMove Software from 2016 to 2019 as an Engineering Manager, where they introduced Agile methodology and delivered a companion app for a key customer. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they were a Software Engineer at OnTheMove Software, focusing on the development of a CRM mobile-first front-end.

Ioan's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at National Instruments from 2012 to 2014, where they contributed to the development of LabWindows/CVI software and implemented a diagnostic reporting feature.

Throughout their career, Ioan has demonstrated expertise in team management, Agile methodologies, and software development, with a particular focus on lean processes, collaboration, and automation.

Ioan Fagarasan completed their education at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca. Ioan first obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Computer Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Computer Science degree in Computer Engineering from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Ioan Fagarasan has also obtained the Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1) certification from Scrum.org in November 2018.
