Priscilla Janice Marbell, MD, MPH, CHES, NBC-HWC

Priscilla Janice Marbell, MD, MPH, CHES, NBC-HWC has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, starting from being a House Officer in Obstetrics and Gynecology at La General Hospital in 2007. Priscilla Janice has also worked as a Volunteer Physician at Rotacare Free Clinic, a Research Intern/Research Team Leader at International Cancer Advocacy Network (ICAN), an MPH Intern at The Health Trust, and a Research Associate at Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health. Dr. Marbell has also worked as a Volunteer Health Coach for Chronic Disease Self-Management and Diabetes Self-Management at The Health Trust in 2017. Priscilla Janice has been a Health Coach at Interactive Health from 2017-2020 and a Lifestyle Coach at Fruit Street from 2019-2022. Dr. Marbell's most recent roles are Accountability Coach at Calibrate starting in November 2021 and Certified Health and Wellness Coach at Terra Health Coaching starting in March 2023.

Priscilla Janice Marbell has an extensive education history. Priscilla Janice obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Sciences from the University of Ghana in 1999-2003. Priscilla Janice then pursued a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree at the University of Ghana Medical School from 2001 to 2007. In 2006, they completed an International External Clinical Clerkship in Pediatric Radiology at Northwestern University/ Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, USA. Priscilla Janice then went on to study Public Health and obtained a Master’s degree from the University of New England in Portland, Maine in 2014-2016. More recently, in 2018-2020, they trained at the Wellcoaches School of Coaching and received a certification as a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. In addition to their education, Priscilla has obtained multiple certifications such as Certified Professional Health and Wellness Coach, NBC-HWC, and Certified Health Education Specialist. Priscilla Janice also pursued courses in Culinary Coaching, Lifestyle Medicine for Coaches, Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management, Nutrition Science, and obtained ECFMG certification. Moreover, they currently hold the position of Freedom from Smoking Clinics Facilitator which they acquired in March 2021 from the American Lung Association.
