Ángeles Fernández-Layos Barba

Ángeles Fernández-Layos Barba is an experienced professional specializing in the development and permitting of photovoltaic projects. Currently serving as a Permitting and Project Developer at PRODIEL, Ángeles is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits to reach a "ready to build" state for co-development projects, including risk analysis and the coordination of various suppliers such as environmental consultants and engineering firms. Ángeles also has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental quality (HSEQ), having previously held the position of HSEQ Manager at PRODIEL and developed corporate HSEQ strategies across multiple countries. Prior experience includes roles in quality and environmental management at ELIMCO, where Ángeles contributed to significant achievements, including a prestigious award from IBERDROLA for corporate social responsibility and the certification of an integrated management system in Chile. Academic qualifications include a degree in Environmental Sciences and multiple master's degrees focused on health and environmental technology.
