Mariana Alcocer

Mariana Alcocer has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mariana worked at Prodigy Finance, starting in 2019, holding various roles such as Head of Strategy, Strategy & Growth Lead, and New Business Lead. Prior to that, they worked as a consultant at Harper Gray, a strategic communications firm for early-stage companies and investors. Mariana also served as a Business Associate at Techstars and as an Advisor at Facture S.A.S. In 2012, Mariana joined Bancoldex, iNNpulsa Colombia, where they were a Corporate Entrepreneurship Associate and later became a Strategic Liaison. Mariana was responsible for managing corporate entrepreneurship programs, leading international cooperations, and designing the bank's role in fostering a startup ecosystem. Mariana's early experience includes working as a Marketing Manager at Audi Colombia and Dealer Network.

Mariana Alcocer's education history includes obtaining a U.S. High School Diploma and Bachiller Colombiano from Colegio Jorge Washington from 2002 to 2006. Mariana then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on Management and Marketing at The Wharton School from 2006 to 2010. In 2014, Mariana attended Harvard Business School Executive Education for a program called "Launching New Ventures." From 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the London Business School. Mariana also participated in an exchange program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2017.
