Maarten Swaab

Maarten Swaab is a Product Manufacturing Architect at Prodrive Technologies since January 2022. Prior experience includes a graduation project at Erasmus MC, where contributions involved defining material parameters for bio-engineered tissues and modeling atherosclerotic plaque using Finite Element Modeling. Additional roles include an internship at Manometric focused on designing a test setup for R&D, a Werkstudent position at Allseas in the Non Destructive Testing Department, and various leadership roles at WASUB, including Chair of the Technical Committee and Chief Engineer. Maarten also co-founded BlueMed, a startup aimed at enhancing wound healthcare in the Netherlands through a digital platform. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Biomechanical Design and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Delft University of Technology.
