Doug Ruba

Doug Ruba is an experienced professional with a diverse background in insurance, art, and technical fields. At ProAg since April 2014, Doug has held roles as Product Owner, Business Implementation Lead, and Crop-Hail & Named-Peril Specialist, focusing on developing and implementing new insurance products, creating marketing and training materials, and underwriting insurance policies. As the Business Owner of R Gallery since July 2010, Doug crafts personalized works of art that merge the alphabet with natural objects. Previous experience includes positions as Office Manager at International Ag Insurance Solutions and Electrician at Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest, as well as a long tenure as an Optician at Walmart Vision Center. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Upper Iowa University and an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Des Moines Area Community College.
