Kacey Auston has extensive experience in government affairs and consulting, currently serving at NextEra Energy Resources since April 2020. As an Independent Business Owner of Auston Consulting since January 2005, Kacey has focused on representing the private sector in resolving issues related to the California Highspeed Rail (CHSR), acting as a liaison for businesses and property owners on various matters including eminent domain negotiations and permitting strategies. Additional roles include serving as a Government and Public Relations Consultant for Mid Valley Disposal and consulting on CHSR issues for Producers Dairy Foods Inc. and the city of Chowchilla. Kacey has also contributed to United Way Fresno and Madera Counties as a Strategic Communications Consultant and implemented medical waste programs for Health Wise Medical Waste throughout California.
