Jillian Apel

Jillian Apel is an experienced professional in the entertainment industry, currently serving as the Manager of Programming and Events at Producers Guild of America since May 2023. Prior to this role, Jillian worked at Shondaland as a Coordinator for Creative Content and Assistant to Betsy Beers from March 2020 to November 2022, and at Brillstein Entertainment Partners as a Coordinator from August 2018 to March 2020. Additional experience includes positions as a Creative Associate at The Peoples Improv Theater, Development Intern at Lin Pictures Inc., Research Assistant and Writer at Duke University's Reporters' Lab, and Production Intern for ABC Television's "How to Get Away with Murder." Jillian began the career with a Development Internship at FilmDistrict in 2013. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Media Studies from Duke University (2014-2018) and attendance at Brentwood School (2008-2014).
