Carlos Espada

Carlos Espada has a strong background in front-end development and UX design. Carlos started their career in 2003 at SenDA Sistemas de Información as a Front-end Developer. Carlos then worked at Secuoyas as a Front-end Developer and UX Designer from 2005 to 2009. From 2009 to 2014, Carlos worked at Bitoon as a Front-end Developer and UX Designer. Carlos then joined Hermanos Clever as a Front-end Developer for a brief period in 2014 before moving on to SocialCo as a Front-end Developer from 2014 to 2016. Carlos then worked at Grávita from 2016 to 2019 as a Front-end Developer and UX Designer. Following this, they joined BotOn as a Front-end Developer from 2019 to 2020. Carlos's most recent work experiences include being a Front-end Developer at Careium from July 2022 to September 2022 and a Staff Growth Engineer (Tech Lead) at Product Hackers from September 2022 to the present. During their time at Product Hackers, Carlos also held the role of Front-end Developer (Tech Lead) at the online newspaper La Razón, where they were responsible for implementing a new redesign and improving performance to meet Core Web Vitals metrics.

Carlos Espada obtained a degree in "Ingeniería Técnica de Telecomunicación" with a specialization in "Sistemas Electrónicos" from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Carlos then pursued a Técnico Superior degree in "Realización de Audiovisuales y Espectáculos" from IES La Arboleda, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Carlos further expanded their education by obtaining a certification as an "Operador 3D con Alias Maya" from CEV. Escuela Superior de Comunicación, Imagen y Sonido in 2001. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications in fields such as Google Analytics 4, Accessible Code, SOLID Growth, and Introduction to Web Accessibility from Product Hackers, The A11Y Collective, and edX, respectively, during the years 2021 and 2023.
