David Christianson has worked as a mechanical engineer in multiple companies. David started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Sensata Technologies in 2008, where they designed testing and assembly stations for automotive sensors. David then worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at QinetiQ North America for designing a gearbox break-in fixture for a robotic arm joint. Later, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Boston Engineering, where they contributed to the design proposal in a services engineering bid by conceptualizing, building, and testing solutions for incoming projects.
Christianson then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Bose Corporation, where they led mechanical design for wireless headphone product development, created prototypes, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to define product architecture. David worked at Bose for five years and then joined Superpedestrian as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they worked for two years.
After that, they worked as a Lead Mechanical Engineer in Christianson Engineering as an independent contractor. In this role, they were responsible for scoping work and performing mechanical engineering duties to support the development of a robotic consumer electronics device.
David then joined XL Fleet as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they worked for a year, followed by Factorial Energy, where they also worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for over a year.
Currently, they work at Product Insight, Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where their responsibilities are not known yet as they will start their work from 2023.
David Christianson attended Northeastern University from 2007 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
