Alejandro Asensio

Alejandro Asensio has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alejandro currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Product School since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Paradigma Digital from October 2014 to October 2021, where they held various roles including Lead at Goodly, Business Development IoT, and Software Architect and Scrum Master.

Before joining Paradigma Digital, Alejandro served as the CTO at Floqq from November 2013 to March 2015, where they were responsible for analyzing new features, creating architecture, maintaining development practices, and managing relationships with third-party software providers.

Alejandro also worked at Paradigma Tecnológico as a Scrum Master and Lead Developer from February 2011 to October 2013, where they led the development team and worked on web applications using PHP and CMS ExpressionEngine. Additionally, they developed mobile apps for Android and iOS using native implementations and frameworks multiplatform at Kenzilab, where they served as the Founder and CTO from July 2006 to September 2013.

Alejandro's work experience also includes roles such as Analyst Functional at AVALON Tecnologías de la Información from August 2011 to February 2012, Analyst Programmer at Nimbus Systems from February 2010 to August 2010, Analyst Programmer at Sun Microsystems from March 2008 to October 2008, and Technology Consultant at Sopra Group from August 2007 to March 2008.

Alejandro Asensio has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which they obtained in 2009. Prior to that, they earned an Associate degree in Management Informatics from the same institution in 2007. Apart from their academic education, Alejandro has also obtained several professional certifications, including Professional Data Engineer from Google Cloud in 2019, Professional Scrum Product Owner - PSPO I from Scrum.org in 2017, and Professional Scrum Master - PSM I from Scrum.org in 2015.
