John Long

John Long is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend development and experimentation platforms. Prior to this, John held a senior engineering role at DoorDash, where contributions included optimizing an Experimentation Platform and enhancing the delivery of experiment configurations. At eBay, John worked on backend development, CI/CD tooling, and testing strategies, transitioning significant projects to modern frameworks. John’s career began at Microsoft, where leadership in testing and automation frameworks for various applications was demonstrated, and further development was achieved at Adobe, creating a cross-platform build system for Photoshop plugins. John holds a degree from California State University, Stanislaus.
