Hubert Palan

Hubert Palan is a startup mentor, advisor, and angel investor. Hubert has also served as the Co-Founder & CEO at Productboard and the VP, Product Management at GoodData.

Palan joined GoodData when there was only a team of six in San Francisco. Hubert helped contribute to the company's overall growth and expansion, eventually leading the front-end product management team, user experience team, developer community, and documentation teams. Hubert was also responsible for managing the GoodData platform business, including product strategy, P&L, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, positioning, messaging, and pricing.

Palan is a strong proponent and advocate of high-performance, yet honest, open, transparent, and trust-based culture with clear company vision and mission. Hubert is sensitive to the leadership and culture challenges of fast-growing startups. Hubert is also an active public speaker and company advocate who frequently interacts with investors, board members, and c-level executives of Fortune 500 companies.

Hubert Palan received their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Hubert also holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering & Database systems from the Czech Technical University in Prague. Hubert graduated from GVP High School in Prague with a High School Diploma in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science.
