Bao Ngo

Bao Ngo is a Principal UI Engineer at Productfy. Bao has over four years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on front-end development. Bao has extensive experience working with JavaScript, MeteorJS, MongoDB, Java, Hibernate, and MySQL.

Bao began their career as a Software Engineer at Nimble Pharmacy in 2016. Bao spent six months maintaining the existing MeteorJS codebase before the front-end migrated to React. Bao was then part of the backend migration team, responsible for rewriting the backend from scratch using Java and Spring.

In 2017, Bao joined Lumity as a Principal UI Architect. Bao led research and design for a new multi-app UI architecture using React, MobX, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Ant Design. Bao was responsible for writing up the HTTP service layer and internal tools portal.

Bao is currently a Principal UI Engineer at Productfy. In this role, they are responsible for leading the design and development of the company’s web applications.

Bao Ngo has an associate's degree in liberal arts with an emphasis on arts and letters from De Anza College. Bao also has a degree in graphic design from The Art Institute of California-San Francisco, and a degree in computer science and engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Bao Ngo graduated from Piedmont Hills High School.

They are on a team with Lindsey Zylstra - Client Support Engineer, Theresa Luu - Sr. Software Engineer, Web, and Jean-Leman Rusangiza - Software Engineer. Bao Ngo reports to Loc Nguyen, Head of Engineering.
