Eric Kuper

Eric Kuper is an experienced professional in the power generation industry, currently serving as Plant Superintendent at PROENERGY since November 2023. Prior to this role, Kuper held multiple positions at IHI Power Services Corp., including Plant Manager and Operations Manager, overseeing operations at a 2x1 combined cycle plant from March 2018 to December 2023. At EthosEnergy Group PPS, from July 2014 to March 2018, Kuper was the Lead Operator, assisting 13 operators by evaluating processes and best practices while also serving as the back-up Operations Manager and Plant Engineer. His career began at Calpine Energy Services, where Kuper also worked as a Lead Operator for over 12 years, and Eric previously operated a 500 MW gas-fired turbine at Duke Energy. Kuper's foundational experience includes serving as a Work Center Supervisor in the US Navy. Kuper holds an Associate degree in Applied Sciences with a focus in electro/mechanical engineering from Southern Illinois University and Excelsior University.
