Mary Cella Valentino has a strong background in sales and retail, with a focus on the luxury fashion industry. Mary has held various leadership roles throughout their career, starting with their time at Bloomingdales as an Assistant Buyer for Fashion Accessories from 1999 to 2001. Mary then moved on to J. Mendel, where they worked as a Project Manager for a few months in 2001. Valentino then joined Versace as an Assistant to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing in 2002. Mary later became the National Sales Manager at STRENESSE AG from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they served as the Global Sales Manager at Ports 1961 from 2008 to 2011. Valentino then joined Derek Lam, where they held various positions, including Director of Sales for Derek Lam 10 Crosby from 2011 to 2015, Vice President of Sales from 2015 to 2016, and ultimately, as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Merchandising from 2016 to 2017. Mary is currently working at Proenza Schouler, where they initially served as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales from 2017 to 2019, and is now the SVP of Global Sales and Retail, a position they have held since July 2019.

Mary Cella Valentino attended Syracuse University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Mary'sstudies focused on Retail Business and Fashion Design.
