Garrett Hillegas

Garrett Hillegas has had a diverse range of roles and experiences in the field of graphic design. Their most recent position is as a Senior Graphic Designer at Professional Fighters League since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at MoneyLion as an Associate Art Director from December 2021 to June 2023.

From April 2021 to June 2023, Garrett served as an Associate Art Director at MALKA, where they led teams in creating digital and physical collateral for clients such as Amazon, Showtime Sports, and KPMG. Garrett also worked as a Motion Graphic Designer at MALKA from December 2019 to April 2021, conceptualizing and creating graphics and animations for clients such as Showtime Sports, Amazon Web Services, and L'Oréal.

Garrett also has experience in the academic sector, having worked as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University's Tyler School of Art and Architecture from August 2021 to December 2021. Additionally, they held intern positions, including a Philadelphia Wings Game Presentation Intern role in November to December 2018, where they produced motion graphics for the professional lacrosse team. Garrett also worked as a Philadelphia Flyers Game Presentation Intern from August to December 2018, producing motion graphics for the professional hockey team.

Earlier in their career, Garrett gained experience as a Graphic Designer at Temple University's Graphics Media Center from 2016 to 2017, managing requests and producing printed assets. Garrett also had an internship with Temple University Athletics from May to August 2017, where they created content for online display and worked on social media engagement and ticket sales.

Garrett Hillegas attended Temple University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA degree in Graphic/Interactive Design. In 2017, they also studied at Temple University Rome for a specific program, focusing on Graphic Design and Art History.
